The ministry has fallen, Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming.
Ever since Kingsley Shacklebolt uttered those fateful words, the Wizarding World has been in turmoil. Currently under the tyranny of Lord Voldemort ther is fear, decption, lies and murder in all directions. The dark lord is building his army along with his faithful servants the Death Eaters who are busy spreading their evil everywhere, torturing and murdering muggles and muggleborns for fun, as well as anyone who doesn't pledge alleigance to the Dark Lord.
These worrying times don't just stop in the wizarding community however, the Muggles are being drawn into the disastor. With Muggles dying every single day, just dropping down dead for no apparant reason, the non magical folk are becoming increasingly suspiscious and of course terrified themselves. Lord Voldemort's emnity is spreading thick and fast.
And those who looked to Hogwarts as a place of safety and sanctuary are no longer comforted by the site of the castle. Hogwarts is no longer the haven it was once viewed as under the power of Albus Dumbledore. Now that Lord Voldemort is in control, he has left his most faithful servant in charge of the school, Severus Snape who is doing his best to make sure none of the students step out of line along with the help of the Carrow siblings who are in charge of punishment. Brutal punishment.
Of course, Muggle borns are still allowed to attend Hogwarts, however they risk being tortured and humiliated more than everyone else. Only those with enough pride left within their souls will choose to attend Hogwarts this year. This appeals as well to any students who do not want to join the dark side. Dumbledore's Army will be up and running again this year but they will be using an even more drastic approach than last time.
Harry Potter of course is in his final year. The order of the phoenix decided that Harry should go back to school whilst they look for the horcruxes to defeat Voldemort. Harry will of course, want to be out of school and in the thick of the action o how long will it be until he decides to escape school and join the hunt to defeat Voldemort?
Who will win in the fight of dark and light? Who will win when
