Raine's blond hair sways in the breeze that is her swinging. Red streaks are in the bottom of her hair, all held up in a ponytail other than her bangs. Brown eyes watch the sun setting over the lake, the dark makeup around her eyes glistening in the dim light. Rai's legs pump slowly, not moving very much because of the fact she's wearing grey skinny jeans with black converse All Star Chuck Taylor's and a skin tight blue Forever The Sickest Kids tee, the band name written in yellow with black outlines, and a skin tight black tank lightly coming out into the layered look.
Raine's speed slowed down a bit, her feet stopping her in the sandy ground. Raine watched the sunset, hoping for the arrival of anyone. She loved just sitting there, watching the sunset, with someone on a warm night like this. Her hands held onto the chains holding the swinkg up and her legs were straight, lightly crossed at the ankles, infront of her. [/blockquote]

When Ryan left Starbucks, he wandered about the campus finally getting used to it. He still had his drink from Starbucks as he strolls into the Park just as the sun was setting. He pauses to watch it for a moment, basking in the rays remembering his old home back in Miami. Just then he notices a girl on a swing watching the sunset as well. Not knowing if he was interrupting anything so he just stood there in his white sleeveless top, blue jeans and sunglasses. Finally he states.
"It's a nice sunset isn't it?"

Raine's eyes were glistening in the dim light, and she jumped lightly at the voice of someone new. Brown eyes turn to the boy, noticing him from a few passes in the hall. She knew he wasn't a senior. "Yeah. It's beautiful. [/color] she said, looking back to the sun for a moment then to the boy. "I'm Raine, by the way. Though if you go to Pennbrooke you've probably already heard of me.." she said with a chuckle. Raine's eyes were full of happiness as she spoke. She pushed a small strand of hair behind her right ear and flipped her bangs lightly to be above her eye. She looked at him, checking him over. He definately look like a jock. Something that Raine didn't mind at all, considering she herself was a popular.[/size][/blockquote]

Ryan nods at her name. So this was Raine, he thought. He hasn't been here for long but he has heard her name being spoken all around the campus. He takes in her blond hair, with red streaks, her brown eyes and her sense of style and immediately, mentally, agreed with what he heard. She was definitely a senior.
Ryan finishes his drink, throws out the cup and goes to walk beside her as he flips up his glasses, revealing his oddly colored blue and green eye. He grins at her.
"So this is Raine. People have been passing the name along to me all day. It's finally nice to meet you. I'm Ryan, a new student and a possible sophomore Quarterback for the Football team," he states as he offers his hand in a friendly gesture

Raine smiled lightly as he flipped up his glasses. She nodded a bit as he spoke. His hand was offered to her, so she shook it lightly. Nice to meet you, Ryan. Good luck getting Quarterback, there's a lot of competition. she said to him. Raine looked at the sun and back to Ryan. Seems like every corner I turn there's a sophmore. Seems like you guys have the biggest class in the school. she said with a small giggle.
Though it was true, Raine didn't mind suprisingly. Especially considering the fact that she was soon to be going out with a sophmore most likely. Rai's brown eyes glistened still. Why don't yah take a seat? she asked Ryan as she patted the swing next to hers with a giggle. [/blockquote]

Ryan takes a seat beside hers, on the next swing. He gazes up at the sun for a moment, feeling oddly at peace considering he has only been at Pennbrooke for about 2 days. When she mentions competition at the quarterback position, he turns his head at her and grins like a little boy in a candy shop.
"Competitions are always fun as long as it just stays on the field," he chuckles, thinking back to his former school. He nods at her comment about sophomores and grins. "It does seem like sophomores are taking over."

Raine grinned, showing her shining white teeth a bit. Yeah, too bad it isn't that way with cheerleaders. It never stays on the field and someone always gets rumors going about someone who did better than them at competition. She said with a nod, keeping her gaze on the sun now. She giggled lightly when Ryan agreed with her about sophmores.
So, how long have you been at Pennbrooke? she asked lightly, looking at him at the question then back to the sun. It was almost all the way down. Oh how she hated the fact that sunset was so early in the fall. For God's sake, it was only 7 and the sun was already setting, almost down! [/blockquote]

Ryan takes a look at the setting sun and then at his watch, realizing that summer was almost over. Summer is his favourite season but fall would be up there too on his list. He then looks over at Raine and nods, knowing full well that cheerleading can lead to some cat fights.
"That is too true. You are a cheerleader right?, " he asks, then turns towards the sun and states. "This is my second day at the academy."

Yeppers, cheerleader. And also gymnastics. I just love bending and flipping.. she said lightly as she stared out at the lake now, watching the reflection of the sun ripple around. The thought of gymnastics sounded fun that moment. Holding tightly onto the chains of the semi-high swing, Raine did a backflip over the swing, then sitting back down with a giggle.
Ah, that's pretty cool. I've been here since my freshman year. she said in reply to him stating it was his second day. [/blockquote]
